    • You should contact Google. This is just a community for owners of Chromecast devices. We are not affiliated to Google.

  • My Chromecast has broke completely, the hdmi came away from the dongle, it basically snapped in half, can I get a replacement?

    • You need to contact the seller if you just got it. Different sellers may have different after-sales policy.

  • I've re installed the device and still as long as I cast I keep have dropped signals.
    The TV programme streams perfectly from my Galaxy S9 and I have a fibre connection. As soon as I cast, it drops.
    The distance from the TV (LG OLED 2017 model) to my phone and phone to Router is 30 feet either way. Total 60 feet.

    Product is rendering itself useless. I've tested AnySync without an issue. If you can't fix this, please let me know so I can change product to AnySync.

    • The Chromecast needs to connect to the router directly. Your phone is only a middle man to initiate the casting. A distance of 60 feet been the router and Chromecast is too far. The WiFi signal should be very weak.

      Please note this is a owner-help-owner community. If you need official technical support, you should contact Google or the local distributor.

  • Hello, I live in Canada but I spend my summers in the USA.

    I tried to setup my ChromecastUltra on the TV of my boat using the wi-fi of the marina through my IPhone.

    Everything goes well until it gives me a error saying that my ChromeCast was manufactured for another country and it may not worked in the USA !!!

    Is there anything I can do ??
